The placement actions below are based on the scores that were earned on the FTCAP tests, which were taken on June 25, 2001. These actions may be different from those on the ''Profile of Academic Abilities'' if the FTCAP tests were taken more than a year ago or if the mathematics retest was taken.

ALL-U = All-University (associate and baccalaureate programs combined)

ENGLISH COMPOSITION

    Schedule ENGLISH 4 before scheduling ENGLISH 15.

MATH 110

    (IV) If you need or want to schedule MATH 110, first schedule MATH 21, then MATH 22, then MATH 110.

MATH 140

    (V) If you need or want to schedule MATH 140, first schedule MATH 21, then MATH 22 and 26 (or MATH 40), then MATH 140.

CHEMISTRY 110

    (X) If you need or want to take CHEM 110, you must pass MATH 21, then schedule CHEM 101 with MATH 22 or 40 (as required) and pass them, then schedule CHEM 110; or you must pass MATH 21, then MATH 22 or 40 (as required), then schedule CHEM 106(offered at some campuses).
